At the center of Legacy InnerShift Institute is Dr. Ansonya Burke, whose work challenges leaders to look beyond performance and examine what is happening beneath it. She founded Legacy InnerShift Institute to address a leadership reality that is often overlooked: you can be highly capable, deeply committed, and trusted by everyone around you, while quietly carrying experiences that are shaping how you lead. Dr. Burke’s work focuses on the internal dimensions of leadership and the ways unresolved experiences can influence relationships, boundaries, decision-making, trust, communication, and leadership presence. Through Forgiveness Intelligence™ and the Forgiveness Framework™, she brings leadership psychology, emotional intelligence, applied neuroscience, and trauma-informed leadership into one integrated approach. Her message is direct: You don't have to leave the seat. You may need a different way to carry it.

Meet Dr. Ansonya Burke

Dr. Ansonya Burke is a leadership strategist, executive coach, speaker, and educator committed to strengthening leaders who carry significant responsibility without always occupying the highest seat. Her work grew from years of observing a familiar leadership pattern. Leaders were learning how to manage teams, execute strategy, communicate vision, and achieve results, but fewer conversations addressed what happens when the leader is also carrying unresolved hurt, disappointment, betrayal, conflict, or relational st

Dr. Burke built her work around that gap. Her approach helps leaders recognize what they are carrying, understand its impact, process unresolved experiences, establish healthier boundaries, and make present-day leadership decisions without allowing yesterday’s wounds to lead the room. Her work creates space for leaders to examine not only how they lead, but also what may be influencing the way they respond, communicate, make decisions, build trust, and navigate relationships.

She is the creator of the Forgiveness Intelligence™ approach and the Forgiveness Framework™, positioning forgiveness not as passive release, but as a leadership competency that can contribute to greater internal clarity, healthier leadership, and more sustainable influence.

Meet Henriette Robinson, LCSW, LICSW

Henriette has been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years. She started in the behavioral health field in 1997 and has served the behavioral health community through providing psychotherapy services in homes, outpatient mental health clinics, schools, long-term care facilities, correction and hospital settings.

Henriette currently serves as a crisis clinician in an emergency room setting and serves as a therapist working with people in the state of Washington and Georgia. In addition to her professional assignment, Henriette was ordained as a minister in 2014 by her late spiritual father Bishop JG Kramer who served on the board of Bishops in the organization, United Fellowship of Christian Churches and Ministries (UFCCM).

Henriette’s ministry experience has included serving as an intercessor, being part of a pastoral team, leadership development, and providing pastoral counseling support to the local body of Christ. As a minister and clinical counselor, her goal is to be an active part of the process of teaching and encouraging people on how to apply bible-based principles to effectively address issues that keep them from living healthy and productive lives. Henriette is passionate about partnering with God both professionally and in the ministry to impact lives through His power to see lives transformed.
